He was interested in electronic music from an early age, starting with Jean-Michel Jarre's Oxygene and Tangerine Dreams Thief, and with an intense enthusiasm for collecting in the 80's artists such as Tim Blake, Vangelis and Patrick O'Hearn. From the first money he earned himself, he then bought a Casio keyboard and had his first steps together with a friend, playing four hands on the keyboard and recording it on tape. In the following years he acquired real synthesizers like the Alpha Juno 1 and the sampler S-50. Through a contact with Lambert Ringlage, his recordings reached Lothar Lubitz, on whose label SynGate Erik's first album Thrust Avis was released in 2004. His musical style can be described as atmospheric electronics, with borrowings from spherical ambient and lounge music, incorporating lively sequences and rhythmic elements. A special feature of his productions is the tonal precision and clarity achieved thanks to his professional experience as a sound engineer and sound designer. His melodies are exceptionally strong. He reminds of the good synth releases that came out in the late 80s on Peter Baumann’s Private Music label, like Eddie Jobson’s Theme of Secrets and Patrick O’Hearn’s Ancient Dreams. The synth sounds are smooth and light. It doesn’t sound like smooth jazz, but it has that quality about it in how it just flows so easily along. “Earthview” is perhaps the best example, a light shuffling beat, pillow soft synths and a gentle melody. Some are a little more upbeat, some are more easy listening, and some, like “Jet Pilot”, are a bit of both. Strongly influenced by Vangelis, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream and Jean Michel Jarre, he delivers an album with compositions written between 1992 and 2003. A sign that shows a much more finicky work. I think it's more worked than his previous recordings. It's a superb musical voyage in New Zealand. From Waitomo to Te Moeka O Tuawe Seifert draws 7 titles where the tribal influences mix with ease with its synthetic arrangements and its harmonious direction. Seifert brings a particular touch with its usual beautiful harmonious sequences and the spiritual breaths of the first territories peoples. Aotearoa is a pretty good musical voyage. A title where the beats and the melodic rhythms are amalgamated with astonishing percussions and great arrangements as surprising as intense. The project members are Max Schiefele (aka MAXXESS), Erik Seifert and Josef Steinbuechel, and all three set about the task of focusing their audio production skills to create a new concept album that describes the experiences of the polar explorer Ernest Shackleton, which has already been done before actually, but as a Progressive Rock album, which this one certainly is not. Entitled: ‘Poles’, the album was premiered during the ‘Electric Movement Festival’ in October 2011. Perishing cold, blinding snowstorms, deprivation, tirelessness and Shackleton’s zest for action are all to be experienced in this tightly structured music depicting a unique polar soundscape where icy winds lead to massive icebergs that break apart and plunge into the sea. The combined experience of both sound engineers: Erik Seifert and Josef Steinbuechel delivers crystal clear sounds through a variety of different synthesizers and effect machines. That pairing has also created elaborate mastering, whilst the virtuous and emotional guitar parts of Mr MAXXESS - aka Max Schiefele - give an emphasis on atmospheric suspense. So, ‘Poles’ is an amazing concept album and describes in spectacular fashion the world of the South and North Poles. All music events are first recorded by so-called multi-track technology onto individual tracks. Later these elaborate frameworks are presented to the music partner and we produce them together. Finally all channels with heir different volumes and frequencies are mixed into a final audio track. This musical project aimed to be clearly different in its way of production from our former method by focusing on improvisation during the composition phase. Space excursions, lunar landings and the famous exchanges between astronauts and NASA personnel are part of the folklore of EM. And this is even more true for those who have continued to clear the genre after Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze and other masters of universes woven in the analog. Fifty years ago this year, the first men walked on the Moon with the Apollo 11 mission. The event generated a lot of CDs and downloads dedicated to this adventure in the field of EM. Erik Seifert and Josef Steinbüchel have done things differently. Their new album MISSIONS is a concept album about NASA missions. To add depth and authenticity, the duo added the original exchanges between NASA astronauts and engineers to each track on MISSIONS. In doing so, each track feeds our interest with a cosmic vision that puts us right in the middle of the action. The two musicians have this art of filling the void with accuracy. We feel the loneliness that weighs on the astronauts in these space shuttles, while the creaking and noises inside the shuttles are as appealing as they are frightening. Helgi	Хотелось бы получить разъяснение. Triple S или Seifert, Steinbuechel & Schiefele ? Здесь https://seifertsteinbuechel.bandcamp.com/album/poles они себя позиционируют как Seifert, Steinbuechel & Schiefele и упоминают про ремастер 2017 года. Ремастер 2021 года https://triple-s-syngate.bandcamp.com/album/poles-remastered уже как Triple S. Так какое название будет более правильным? Или оба имеют право на существование?

Klorus X	Правильная индексной карта (.CUE) в оформлении. Вообще cue можно и нужно смело редактировать и приводить в соответствие с действительностью, это как раз рабочий документ, а не скрижаль. Так же у меня ещё было бы пожелание к оформлению и тегам - не следовать форматированию автора - всё заглавными или наоборот строчными - это дурь полная, а поступать как Дискогс - сводить всё к единому стандарту написания. Хотя мне гораздо ближе стандарт Musicbrainz, который некоторые вспомогательные слова пишет строчными.

Ещё надо отметить просто в качестве занятного факта, что после начала совместной работы Сейферта и Штайнбюхеля все альбомы подписываются именно Seifert & Steinbuechel, хотя второй вроде бы не имеет отношения ни к чему, что выходило или было написано до 2011 года. С чего вдруг такой поворот? Сейферт в отличие от своего друга имеет длительный трек работы в берлинке, а вот его коллега ранее вообще не существовал как музыкант. Хотя кое-что интересное написано в альбоме Astronomical Unit 2008 года Мой лучший друг Йозеф Штайнбюхель, звукорежиссер, записал весь концерт на мой многодорожечный Zaxcom Deva IV, который я использую в своей работе в качестве звукорежиссера. А ещё в одном из буклетов написано, что он его единственный настоящий друг (правда имя написано с ошибкой...). Видимо друг призрачно присутствовал где-то поблизости при записи альбомов.

По большому счёту, реакция нулевая. За всё время добавился только jianniz в другой теме. Тут надо указать 31 марта 2017. Вообще-то альбом не был доступен и даже известен ранее, даже если и был записан в 2000. Да я не против, всё равно позже переделаю оформление, только ссылка где на дату 31 марта 2017? Отсебятину я тоже не могу писать. Везде только 2000 год указан.

protoz	Да я хоть что угодно могут написать, и пояснения дать. Но ведь у других останутся вопросы по датировке. Я уже давно понял что этот альбом вроде прикола от авторов для поклонников, его даже на их сайте в дискографии нет. Оформление будет переделано (когда будет весь материал новый), где и будет указаны и дата изданий и даты первоначального выхода альбома (как в более поздних моих раздачах).
