Pretty awesome stuff, both the studio and live discs are really outstanding. This is probably Cream's best album, which means it's also the best album featuring Eric Clapton ever released. The studio album is the better of the two as it features a number of quirky but appealing tracks that are not the type of think people think of when they think of Cream - particularly "Passing the Time" and "As You Said" - both outstanding but about as far away from hard guitar blues as you can get. The thing you need to realize with this band is that Jack Bruce had a stronger influence on their studio material than Clapton did and their studio stuff was much more diverse than their live material. The live album is more characteristic of what most people would expect from Cream and it is outstanding - yes the drum solo in Toad is too long, but for a drum solo track it's not bad. Remember, all bands in this genre in the late sixties had drum solo tracks - even Led Zeppelin!
