The three musicians skilfully combine catchy melodies, danceable rhythms and a transparent production putting the final polishing touches to the elven songs of the album. The band takes their time with each song and deliberately does not produce any typically short threeand-a-half minutes singles, but gives the compositions the space they need soundwise as well as lyrically to unfold their full potential. In doing so, the songs neither cheap out on atmospheric intros (“Know”) nor on extensive instrumental passages (“Political Brainwash Machine”) which are essential in helping the listeners to lose themselves in Hidden Soul’s world of sound. With “The Incorruptible Dream” Hidden Souls present an amazingly homogenous electro album which, despite the familiar sound patterns, does not look like a designed hit factory taken from an electro / dance model kit, but sees itself as a complete oeuvre and invites the listeners to take their time to listen to both the music and the lyrics. released September 28, 2018

In 2018, the Argentinian band released their debut album "The Incorruptible Dream". Now, they are back with new material after touring in Europe for the first time. "All That We Destroy" is a little closer to synthpop than its predecessor, but the lyrics are still deep and dark as usual. If you compare this new album with the first album, you clearly notice that the 'Hidden Souls sound' is still there. The structure and the atmosphere of the songs are a trademark of the band. The name of the album was born from the sad images and feelings from all over the world in the last couple of years. A dark atmosphere embraces the planet. First, the pandemic situation has changed our lives as we knew it. Now, however, the situation around the globe is even worse because we still have the virus in our daily lives plus the economic problems and war is around the corner. Sadly, the band was right four years ago when the Argentinian trio released the single "The World Is Falling ..." (it was on the D.A.C. Top 20 for 5 weeks). William was walking in Berlin and he saw a hole in some remaining part of the Berlin Wall. He thought that it was ironic, because he saw through the hole and he saw another wall. So, he said to his wife: "It doesn't matter how many years we've tried to make the world better. Finally, we always come back to the same sad point. Because something happens and we destroy everything we did ... everything we build, everything we wrote." The hole is a metaphor. If you see the cover of the album, you can see a dark present through the hole. "I Was There ..." is the opener song of the album and the first single. It's a danceable futurepop song. Then, the synthpop shines until the 'dark ballads' appear: "Something" and "All That We Destroy". But first, you can hear the song "Loreley"; a song about the German myth "Lorelei" from the Rhine Gorge. A pop feeling but with a strong message arise with the song "Know Your Fears", while the hidden goth soul of the band leads you to a different space and time with the melancholic and beautiful duet called "Nobody". The ‘poetic’ synthpop song "We're All Escapists" and the ‘soundtrack-ish’ track "The Void" close the back door of the album. HIDDEN SOULS are Leo Carden (vocals//guitars), Guillermo "William" Pardo Neira (keyboards//songwriter//programming) & Alex Visoná (keyboards// composer). The track is taken from their upcoming debut album "The Incorruptible Dream" which will be released on September 28, 2018. "The World Is Falling …" was born from the sad images from the Syrian war, the endless Palestine / Israel 'issues' and the cold war between the USA and North Korea. It is an anti-war song dealing with the real meaning of life and the blindness and delusions of the world. Based on vintage keyboards and analogue bass lines, the song unveils the band's dark and electronic roots. The single features remixes by Naked Lunch, Zoon Politicon, Nekrodamus and many more as well as a 'tribute' song called "The Future Is Mine (T.H.X.)" based on the science fiction cult movie "THX 1138" (1971) directed by famous George Lucas. "The Guilt" is born from the eternal inner fight between light and darkness. The feeling of being loved and wanted but sometimes in suffering and hopeless despair. The name of the single is "Sinking In Despair" and featuring seven remixes of the song and a "B-Side" track. "We can define the song "Sinking In Despair" as a classic synthpop song. Between Camouflage and De/Vision (Germany) but with "a fingertip" that you can find in every HIDDEN SOULS song. I'm talking about the dark atmosphere embracing the song, musically and lyrically." (Guillermo "William" Pardo Neira) The song blends a powerful refrain with catchy synthesizer melodies and a pulsating bassline. The single contains remixes from Restriction 9 (Sweden), DJ Complex (Argentina), Pleasure Time (Chile), Binaria (Argentina), Blackened Brothers (Canada) and Kristalo (Argentina). The single also features a non-album track - a cover version of Depeche Mode's newest single called "Ghosts Again". The band decided to make the cover because they felt that something is missing or unfinished on the original track of the English 'cult band'. After watching the beautiful video of the song, William thought that the lyrics and the music needed something different, a new ending. So, he wrote new lyrics and also changed the song finale.
