We organize acid and electro injections at Griessmuehle, Sameheads and around Berlin. The collective was founded in April 2012 by Italian DJ Federico Benedetti (ElectroDon) and Chilean artist / producer Daniel Boubet (Trippy-H / Daribone), and later came to include Danish DJ, MEJLE. The goal of Mechatronica is to promote new talent within the electronic music scene, the main focal point being projects where music is being produced and performed in an experimental way. Our musical direction is a mesh of acid, electro and techno rooted in the sound of analogue equipment—namely classic drum machines, synthesizers, sequencers, samplers or other any other medium merging digital and analogue territory. Our events are built to guarantee a unique relation between live performances and DJ sets, and are frequently visited by artists who exhibit or install creative elements to further enrich the musical experience. Finally, a fundamental objective in Mechatronica is the ability to structure and execute good events at a reasonable price.
