TRILOGY are Jens Müller (vocals) and Erick Miotke (music) with live-support Chris "Léo" Leonhardt (drums).
The band was created as a follow-up project after the exit of the vocalist of the predecessor band TRIAL. Miotke and Müller are now continuing the TRIAL legacy with new dynamics.
Erick Miotke is known in the electronic music scene as mastermind of the band TRIAL (1991-2011), remixer and DJ. This sound lives on with TRILOGY. Also Jens Müller brings as a former vocalist of the band HUMAN RESOURCE a lot of experience in the scene and should be known to many as a DJ of various electro events. Above all, Jens` brings great commitment and fresh blood to the project, which the audience of previous TRILOGY performances and especially at the Family Reunion XII at "TRILOGY ON TRIAL" noticed.
Observers describe his presence as energetic and powerful, seemingly effortlessly conveying the hardness and depth of old and new compositions. With him the qualities of TRIAL are preserved by TRILOGY, so that the musical world of the cult project can stand on the old foundations and beat new impulses.
The first EP "Combat Surfer" shows this exemplary and absolutely convincing. Strong beats and hard sequences are embedded by various Sfx sounds, which, in addition to a catchy melody, unfold the epic space and depth to provide Jens` vocals a suitable stage for the expressive interpretation of the lyrics.
With the fast and fast-paced "Treibjagd" and the mystical "Skinned" as well as two other mixes of the title track, the range of this formation is very vividly demonstrated: Deep and varied sound structures produce the typical and well-known multi-layered "Miotke sound" even at different tempos. Flanked by a special and charismatic vocalist, they are all ingredients for a hard, danceable yet melodic dark electro - the mix that has become a brand sound and is now being further developed.
This debut track will be featured on the "Combat Surfer - Remixed" EP in different versions of the likes of Transmitter, Gabi Delgado, Spherical Disrupted, Amnistia and MC1R.
The live EP "Trilogy On Trial" of the performance at the Family Reunion XII offers classic TRIAL songs, partly reworked with live-drums by Chris "Léo '" Leonhardt directly from the EBM pilgrimage in Sandersleben.
In February 2018, the EP follows "Someone Inside" with remixes by NZ, Scheuber, Tri-State, Akalotz, Bathead and Villa Borghese of the title track and two new pieces "Gift" and "I Speak to you".
