Released on physical cd in 2007 by Advoxya Records Dark danceable EBM/electro hailing from Sweden.
The band consists of Ulf Lundblad and Fredrik Djurfeldt who both have been collaborating in different constellations before getting together to create instans in the fall of 2004. The duo met in Göteborg, Sweden, in the year 2000 and started the harsh EBM act Severe Illusion. They are still working under that moniker and has until today released two albums, as well as an CDM and a split vinyl lp together with electro terrorists The Pain Machinery. After finishing recording the second album for Severe Illusion, the members felt they needed to rinse their brains from the messy beats and broken down melodies that had surrounded them for so long.
Instans was born. Totally danceable and with strong, minimalistic melodies the music of the new band was still well within the borders of the modern electronic music, but yet marked a new direction in the artists progress.
Combining the forces of haunting rhyth released December 15, 2006 Instans are: Fredrik + Ulf.

Released on physical cd in 2010 by Advoxya Records. Good news for you all. Advoxya is about to release a new EP from Swedish post EBM act Instans. Under the name "Nuke Fight / Leading the Way", the EP holds two new tracks from the band and remixes from KIFOTH, Arzt+Pfusch, The Pain Machinery, Mergel Kratzer, Boron Division, Four Dimentional Nightmare, Severe Illusion, Time Wave Zero and Radiumhospitalet. The EP is made from real plastic and the beautiful artwork is made by Anders Karlsson from The Pain Machinery. The EP is expected to be followed up by a full length album later this year, so stay tuned. Instans can be seen at the Enegry Open Air festival in Cherkasy, Ukraine, on July 17. Enegry Open Air is a three day festival taking place between July 16 and 18, with well over 30 bands playing, including Error Genesis, Alien Vampires, A7IE, Schyzzo.Com and Severe Illusion. theHungarian Advoxya Record label on May 20, 2013.
Instans began in late 2005. Having worked together on several other
projectsbefore, Ulf Lundblad and Fredrik Djurfeldt decided a new
standard was neededfor hard electronic music. With this fairly ambitious goal in mind they set outto record their first album 'Common Ground', released by Advoxya Records lessthan a year later. A number of live shows across Europe were soon to follow, aswell as an EP in 2010. The band has recently resumed it's activities and the new album is soon to be released. The years that have passed have allowed for some development, wherethe sound has evolved into something darker and even more sinister than their earlierworks. Released as double-cd edition only by Advoxya records in 2017. The story began back in the year 2006, when the debut album from swedish duo Instans (already well-known in electro-industrial scene under Severe Illusion name) was released by young hungarian label Advoxya Records. To someone Instans can remind of 90s productions full of mixture from cold-electronics and EMB elements. Most of the songs have a quite minimal sounding structure. The sound is driven by a strong moody format joined by icy bleeps and sharp sounding leads. Also album features the remixes from No Sleep by the Machine, Alvar, Amnistia, TC75, Antibiosis and Severe Illusion itself.
band says: The new album from Instans is a journey back to a time from which were we never meant to have emerged. A time when the promise of mutually assured destruction kept the powers that shouldn't be in check, and the rest of the human population in perpetual fear. A time when the coming atomic armageddon DERAILED all of our dreams.
