After releasing an instrumental progressive chiptune album called Seven Journeys to a New Home in 2013, he began replacing the chiptune sound with more high fidelity and accoustic elements. In 2014 he released the concept album The Lighthouse, which best can be desribed as instrumental synth prog. Inspired by bands like Dream Theater, Ayreon, Symphony X, Shadow Gallery, Circus Maximus and many others, Kartmaze's music is both technical, melodic and dynamic, wrapped inside a synth package with occational orchestral elements. VIII: The Sunset (1:53) Far west, where the trees have yielded to the howling wind, where the land meets the vast ocean and the scent of seawater thickens the air, you will find it. For hundreds of years the Lighthouse has guided seafarers far from home around the rocky shore, not even once failing its duty. Neither the thickest of fogs nor the blackest of nights are enough to lure the ships towards the treacherous reef. Waves larger than giants ceaselessly break upon on the rugged brickwork and the raging winds always come back for another battle, but the Lighthouse never succumbs to the wrath of the storms. When the clash between the massive masonry and mighty tempest has settled down, the birds come out to play within the crimson sky. Eternally, like a pillar of fire, even when the air is crystal clear and the waters transform into an endless mirror, the Lighthouse keeps on aiding those in need of guidance. released 12 October 2014 Written, arranged and produced by Mads Aasvik Mixed and mastered by Stein Bratland and Mads Aasvik at Skansen Lydstudio, Trondheim, Norway Artwork by Nikolai Lockertsen (lockertsen.net) Published by Ubiktune (ubiktune.com) More information: foobar2000 1.3.5 / Замер динамического диапазона (DR) 1.1.1 Для того, чтобы скачать .torrent Вам необходимо зарегистрироваться |
