Hummingbird is both a music album and a powerful healing tool. Much of the music was written and produced during a period of profound kundalini spiritual awakening that I experienced in 2003. Tatranska Fujara (Maya), for example, was written just hours before my reality was shattered for the first time.
Several compositions on the album, such as Serpernt, Huascar, and Eagle, reflect part of my shamanic training, and some of the songs, like September Storm, tell stories of past frightening paranormal and psychic experiences that I now fully understand and deeply appreciate.
In a state of fully embodied love, in December 2003, I got a powerful glimpse of what is possible for all human beings to experience. It is my wish that you all gain this understanding of what is possible when our illusion is broken. I pray that this album helps break your limiting beliefs and conditioning . I pray that it helps empower you forward on your spiritual path back home - like the hummingbirds journey. Sometimes the journey home, which can seem like an eternity, is just a matter of perception. You may be closer to the answer than you think.
There are several musical instruments and sounds that I designed specifically for this project. The wow remembrance wheels, for example, are both a sound meditation tool and an amazing musical instrument. They actually speak when played in groups. You can experience “the wheels” on several tracks on this album, including Huascar and Eagle.
Many of the sounds used on the album took years of sound design and engineering to produce. They are meant to break your limiting belief of what is real. Other sounds on the album activate both the left and right hemispheres of your brain simultaneously, and this can be very transformative. The songs with these embedded tones are most effectively used while listening with headphones, but this not a requirement.
