The title of the album is inspired by the area where I often go running and cycling. It’s a former agricultural area that has been given back to nature.
Quiet, peaceful and dominated by swamps, small rivers and many birds. Sometimes it is so misty over there that the world seems to vanish just before you.
During one of these misty mornings I took the photo’s that have become the album cover and lead to the album title.
Sequences and melancholic pieces are prominent on the album. I think this is my first album with a track that only consists of sequences (the closing track: At the end of the track).
Unlike many of my previous albums, this is not a concept album. Hope you’ll enjoy it!
