While this album cannot be ranked as masterpiece in any of the genres it showcases, it is quite a good mixed bag that will please funk, disco, R&B and very liberal jazz fusion fans.
Melodies are average, compositional skills unadvanced but at least production and instrumental skills stand out even though there aren't many places for them to shine through.
The 9-minute epic is a bit of disappointment to those expected Mahavishnu mood and playing by Santana is also quite restrained.
Anyway, this is the most ambitious album by Walden from the 70's and the only one I acquired.
