She is of Bosnian and Macedonian origins. She was raised in a quiet and sparsely populated seaside town in Istanbul which was her main inspiration, however she didn't realize it until she moved to a densely populated neighbourhood. She started making music when she was a child. She has been interested in Opera since she was a child. Classical, early/medieval music has always been a great deal of influence on her melodies. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising though she never considered herself having a role in the advertising business. She has created several music projects which are Beyond Reclaim, Adviruz and 2Kutup and her side projects Drioma and Dementa. She likes combining different styles of music. Pınar released her first digital album under the alias Adviruz in 2009. Adviruz, her first electronic music project was formed when she gathered her ideas in a digital audio workstation environment. Then she banded together with her friends and they performed several shows at local clubs in Istanbul. After Adviruz disbanded, she continued writing music. After writing more songs for Adviruz, she focused on her project called 2Kutup and started composing drone and dark ambient tracks. After releasing a digital album as 2Kutup, she started Beyond Reclaim. She has written several songs and released a digital album under the alias "Beyond Reclaim". On a gloomy night she started Dementa and wrote four songs. On the other hand for a while she was busy with her project Drioma which has Russian lyrics and dark electronic music. She also writes music as Pınar Akbay. She gathered her songs in an album called "Spellbound" as Pınar Akbay. She writes about life and emotions in general. She tends to keep her emotions raw and dark. To this day she has released many digital albums on several netlabels and her songs have been featured in many radio broadcasts. She likes listening to a wide range of music from classical music to extreme metal. She enjoys taking photographs, taking walks by the sea and spending time at home, just reading and relaxing which she finds calming, peaceful and cosy.
