The DIVINUS are 5 elements, they all professionals in the musical field that agreed to do a first album. A project that had a musical output of the English producer Simon Wadsworth and a vocal direction of the American Dale Chappell and that was platinum in barely 3 weeks of being top. An album, "DIVINUS - Portuguese Successes in Gregorian" that entered in the table of the European top in barely 1 month.
In 2002 the experience repeated itself and the success was not done to expect. Divinus edited 2 new unique albums: Divinus - "Portuguese Successes in Gregorian II" and Divinus Christmas - "The most beautiful melodies for Christmas" conquered the market and the Portuguese people by its originality and, moreover, by the divinity of the voices of these professional singers. In this year of 2003, the Divinus returns with a very new album Divinus with Orchestra - "Big Classics of the Portuguese Song". This new CD contents fear that did history in the Portuguese song, between them "Lisbon Girl and Young", "Brown Eyes" and "And After the Good-bye", being this last the 1є single to be extracted of the new CD. "The DIVINUS aim for the future with a look in the past, and uncover the possible sound of the fusion of the persons that live the song of a common time. The eternal one is inevitable. .."
After the success recognized of the first disc of Divinus, "Sucessos portugueses em gregoriano" - an unpublished project in Portugal that interpreted for the first time the biggest successes of the Portuguese song in gregorian chant - the Divinus come back with a second COMPACT DISK, "Sucessos portugueses em Gregoriano II. Divinus sing and remake "Memórias de 1 beijo", of the Trovante, "Loucos de Lisboa" of the Ala dos Namorados, "Menina estás а Janela" of Vitorino and "Jura" of Rui Veloso, between many others. More a bet in the Portuguese song in the continuity of a project that astonished the public, being in nє 1 of the top national during weeks and that sold more of 40.000 copies.
