Muench (Synapscape, The Rorschach Garden etc.) and released the tape "1000 Ships at the Bottom of the Ocean" (1995) and the CD-R "Seasons" (2002) on Fich Art. The CD "Auf Tauchfahrt" was created in collaboration with B. Teichner (The Rorschach Garden). As you can see by it's name underwater worlds are used as the CD's main theme and even if the wheel wasn't reinvented, you will experience it in a very own way. Among the remixers are the audiophob-projects Mandelbrot and Zero Degree but also 5F-X, Heimstatt Yipotash, Mimetic, Telepherique, Facies Deformis (Irikarah, A²), Carsten Vollmer and Nerthus. This mixture results in a diversified collection that partially places the sounds of Spherical Disrupted in an quite different light. In the best IDM-tradition everything got more noisy and rhythmic, the epic dimensions of the original tracks where distinctly reduced by most of the remixers. The first 75 copies come with an additional CD-R entitled "Barriere Zwei". It contains another new track, more remixes and a live recording from the so far unique acoustic-concert of Spherical Disrupted at the end of 2006. Now it's time for the follow up release which is entitled "Quasar". The term "Quasar" is short for "Quasi-Stellar Radio Source". It is used for galaxies sending out large amounts of energy in different wave lengths. This phenomena is addressed in the albums five new tracks of sometimes epic length. Elements of Dark Ambient, IDM and even 70s Electronica are put into a modern context on this work. The remixes of Xabec and Empusae fit seamlessly into this concept by providing a more rhythmic aspect for two of the songs. Furthermore a remix of the track "Cosmological Redshift", known from the compilation "Industrial Meeting 14", made by Spherical Disrupted himself can be found on this new CD. The name Skalpell might ring a bell to some of you, as the swiss duo has been active since 1995. During this time they have published excellent releases on labels like Deafborn and in the Dark Ambient Series of Art Konkret. "Nothing Important To Tell So Far" is the first album in five years and it's been worth the wait! Skalpell offer 76 minutes of ambient that is not shy to show influences from both noise and tribal-ritual. Even though the opener "Left Handed Sentinel" seems somewhat restrained, "An Inkling Of Things To Come" shows finally what the album is all about. During the middle part, "Ebola 3" continues a series that started with the first two parts on the 1997 tape "Surgical Compulsion". This track is also one of the more noise influenced pieces of the album. The last track "Rupture" starts similarly noisy, but soon turns into hypnotic rhythms that end the journey through the world of Skalpell. (auphcd014) released August 27, 2010

Each of the ten tracks picks up the general atmosphere Mandelbrot is known for and moves it at least one or two galaxies further. Although inspired by the famous German science fiction pulp magazine series "Perry Rhodan", this album is more than a fictional soundtrack. Providing dark technoid and minimal sounds that sometimes drift into ambient or even acid, the album creates a club like atmosphere where the listener is welcomed as a regular, still able to get in touch with the new. Inspired by the construction of this instrument, three instrumental pieces were recorded. Live and without additional audio tracks. The intense performance has its roots in Old-School-Industrial. Drums made of metal, plastic and stone meets powertools like hammers and angle grinders. Embedded in hard electronic beats and sounds which poach recklessly through different music styles like breakbeat, dubstep, German schlager or workers protest songs. Uncompromising and physical like the sound are the German lyrics. The word has to be a weapon. The lyrical ammo is about conflict and war, love and pain, desire and loss. Archaic and ambiguous stories celebrate the joy of the strange and bizarre. Beinhaus aims to the head and to the body. Beinhaus exists since 1995. Some Tracks are in a constant metamorphosis. Chaotalion on the other hand, a project that was born in 1997, transgresses conventional structures of electronic music; rhythm and melody are only a minor issue on Marco's electroacoustic playground. With experimental dark drones and ritual scapes he creates hypnotic, surreal atmospheres that transfer the inclined listener to completely different realities. The collage-like soundscapes of Chaotalion are always arranged with great detail; with an enormous archive of field recordings, his typical analogue sound and unique references to the occult, Marco gives his works a distinctive and personal character. From intimate cellar shows and highly celebrated underground festival appearences up to legendary performances at Maschinenfest and at MS Stubnitz - the fan base of the magical coffee party is constantly growing. The sweet cake and well-scented coffee attracted countless known members of the experimental music scene like Thorofon, Philipp Münch, Hypnoskull or Beinhaus, as well as underground poets like Lütfiye Güzel. In 2005 each of them where responsible for one of the four sides of the double LP split "Oscotarach". Furthermore, both collaborated in remix works and live appearances. Today we are happy to announce their new shared work - a 12" vinyl release. This time, only one side of the vinyl contains recordings. First, new tracks of both of the projects, followed up by remixes of that tracks from the other artist. Spherical Disrupted is opening with the icy dark Minimal-Ambient track "Recluse", Carsten Vollmer is following up with "CSCP", a track that is penetrating your brain with slow repetitive noise.
