Simon Zlotos - Keyboards/Bass Florian Grey’s musical roots are in rock/gothic rock/pop with a proper dose of symphonic and electronic elements. He proves his songwriter creativity by interweaving different genres which results in a unique sound called "symphonic dark rock/pop". He worked with and for different artists and bands during and after his music education. 2006 he founded the Dark Rock - band Eves End which attained national fame.
He released the debut album entitled „Frozen Heart Philosophy“ and the two EP's "Eden" and "Dead End Hope", herefore Florian Grey wrote all vocal melodies and lyrics.
He played national and international shows with Bands and Artists like Tarja Turunen, Doro Pesch, Saltatio Mortis, Lacrimas Profundere and Poison Black - to name a few. In 2011 Florian Grey left the band and worked as songwriter and singer for different projects and bands such as Royal Decadence or Electric Mole and started to work on his own music. In 2013 Florian Grey signed with Mgmt & Booking Agency MusicLightsBerlin and returned as a solo artist to play several shows in Germany and Finland and toured with different bands. In 2014 he began to work with Björn Meindl for the Production of his first solo album „Gone“ which was coproduced, mixed & mastered by Chris Harms and Benjamin Lawrence at Chameleon Studio Hamburg.
He also worked with the band DARKH for a feature on the song "Dead Man's Toll" and even co-lyrical. In early 2015 Florian Grey signed with the record label Echozone/BOB MEDIA and distribution with SOULFOOD.
As a result of a great cooperation and support from Chris Harms he joined Lord of the Lost on their "A Night To Remember" Tour.
Shortly after supporting Lord of the Lost he played his very first headliner tour in Germany supported by a finnish band.
In May 2015 Florian Grey released his debut album "Gone" via ECHOZONE/SOULFOOD which was followed in August by the single "Laudanum".
In September 2015 Florian Grey signed with major booking agency CONTRIBE.
In November 2015 Florian Grey released the second single "A Black Symphony" and once again played Music Lights Berlin's own "Rock meets Silence" acoustic tour, this time also joined by Rob Vitacca and Clea Clemens of Lacrimas Produndere. In 2016 Florian Grey was already featured in several national and international magazines and radio stations (including a nominee for best voice and best newcomer). He was invited to play at the Autumn Moon Festival and Herbststurm Festival.
In September 2016 he teamed up with Eyes Shut Tight and went on a Co- Headliner tour entitled "Banished and Gone".
In November 2016 he once again appeared on Music Lights Berlin's own "Rock meets Silence" acoustic concert tour also featuring Private Line, Lacrimas Profundere (Rob Vitacca and Clea Clemens) and Hell Boulevard. In 2017 Florian Grey took part in the "A Night in Hell" Tour together with Eyes Shut Tight and Hell Boulevard. The grand finale live show in Stuttgart was filmed in HD for local television and set for worldwide streaming online.
In April & May 2017 Florian Grey was invited to play at Hexentanz Festival and the WGT in Leipzig.
In June 2017 Florian Grey released his third single "The End" of the Album "Gone" which was released as a very limited physical "fan edition" CD including the video clip, made by Felix Immel/Scumcrow Productions and the rare first demo version.
In September 2017 Florian Grey returns as a DJ at the iconic Gothic Club “Dark Flower” in Leipzig.
In December 2017 Florian Grey headlined his own first acoustic tour called “The Acoustic Shows 2017” in special and ambient locations which lead him back to the roots and through five German cities.
In November 2017 the working process on the new record began and will lead into the studio during March 2018 On April 28th 2018 Florian Grey will play the Plague Noire Festival
With the release of “RITUS” on May 18th 2018 comes Florian Grey’s second album and pushes the listener even deeper in the world of his music.
What began as a solo project has grown more and more into total new thing; a hybrid between a band and a solo artist, not least due to numerous live concerts.
Besides Florian's three co-musicians, producer Hilton Theissen (Dark Millenium, Akanoid, Seadrake) and Hell Boulevard frontman Matteo VDiva Fabiani support the project with their competence and experience and formed und the direction of Grey a strong unit that made "RITUS" possible. Again great melodies mixed with powerful sounds and epic lyrics creating a dark rock epos wich combines symphonic, rock, alternative, pop, metal, 80ies synth pop and dark rock on one album.
Florian Grey shows with this album a completely new side with more corners and edges. Compared to "Gone", "RITUS" is faster, more direct, harder, louder and no less mysterious and lyrical than its predecessor. In this album, Florian Grey deals with themes and feelings that affect everyone - love, revenge, hope, pain, devotion. A tour will follow in 2018.

From alternative rock with metal influences and hard guitar riffs to pop with 80s synths, all styles are represented. With this album, Florian Grey shows a totally new side with more rough edges. Compared to "Gone", "RITUS" is more uptempo, more straight forward, harder, louder and not one bit less cryptic and lyrical than the previous album. Crossgenre and far from any stereotypes, Florian Grey addresses topics and emotions affecting everyone – love, vengeance, hope, pain, devotion. On "RITUS", nothing is as it seems.
