It's about a merchant sailor trapped on a remote southern island - the Island of the Apôtres, in the deep Indian Ocean. As he tries to contact the outside world, he slowly loses his mind. Using horns, strings, sampled wind instruments, synths, and other interesting instruments (check out Nysaeland and Kawai'i;nga for some sick conch solos, for example), the nightmare of the island is fully realised on this disturbing yet highly intriguing album. released August 11, 2015 Conch on track 3 and 8 sample from the UNDP Video Archives. Radio on track 9 sample from the Conet Project. All bass sampled from Hamasa Awakshidar, and tuba sample on track 9 from James Ashworth. Music was mixed by James Ashworth using FL Studio, Pro Tools, Audacity, and Logic Pro. Music was sequenced by Hamasa Awakshidar and James Ashworth. Lyrics were written by MCLV, Edgar Allan Poe, and James Ashworth.
