He began composing in 1988 on his Amiga500. In 1990 he joined the .no based group Triumph and went on to make music for a few of their productions. In 1996, Xerxes and Scirocco formed Night55 which later included Rage, Elwood, Mick Rippon and Glitch. Xerxes also did som releases for Level-D before joining Hellven and Fairlight in 2000. All in all he has released about 80 tunes in either .mod .xm or .it format, and about 20 releases as .mp3. Currently he is working on an album that should be concluded sometime early 2004. His musical inspirations comes from the likes of Vangelis, Jean-Michel Jarre and Mike Oldfield. When not doing music, Xerxes works as an account manager in a large norwegian based ISP.- Albums-

This is my first and so far only full-length album. It was originally offered as a free download, 6 track album. After receiving inspiring feedback, it was decided to release the album on Cardamar Records in the Netherlands. So I took the album into a studio and had it mixed and mastered. SELECTED WORKS: JØRGEN BRYDE This one is personal. Jørgen is one of my best friends in life. He has cancer of the worst kind possible. We were childhood friends and he taught me a lot about music and how to listen to it properly. He has a wonderful sense of humour that is impossible to explain. We spent some years apart as I travelled overseas and worked outside of Norway. One day we met at the local pub and I asked him to join me for a concert in Riga. He thought about it for about 20 seconds and said "yeah! ofcourse!". This really sums up how Jørgen is as a person. The word "no" is not in his vocabulary. Without a doubt, he is one of the most kind and understanding people I have ever met. I am proud, happy and very secure when I say that Selected Works : Volume 4 is dedicated with all my heart to Jørgen. Feb 27, 2010: I am sad to let you all know that Jørgen passed away on the 24th of february. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. As for all of you who supported Jørgen and myself by purchasing his album - thank you! I promise to find a way we can channel this money to a greater good. -- IMPORTANT NOTE The first track on this compilation is not composed, arranged nor sequenced by myself. Howdy friends! Another EP with six tracks that, in all honesty, should have been on six different albums. The only thing they have in common is that they were made on a computer. Hello and welcome to the official site of our first single release.
How this song came to life is very special to us. The process of creating “Scarecrow” sprang from a conceptual idea in collaboration with the awesome coders from PlayPsyCo, aka Thomas Austad and Sjur Mathisen. The common goal was to represent this as a PC Demo competition entry at the Revision Easterparty 2014, which took place in Saarbrücken, Germany. From the very first drafts presented we knew we were on to something very special and beautiful. Telling a story depicted through animated graphics and music, trying to imagine a world seen through the eyes of a Scarecrow just come to life. Perceiving its surroundings, developing self-awareness, interacting in a wondrous yet so unfamiliar existence. Also entailing its saddened realization of being different and not fitting in, longing to be alike all the beauty it sees around it believing it´s the only way to be truly free. Strongly resembling our world today where the ideal beauty should be flawless. It has been an exciting journey for us over a five months long period; first making the soundtrack and then watching this fragile character and its surroundings being brought to life by PlayPsyCo.
