It was founded in 2014 by Spacemaker and Leather E, two DJs who have their roots in electronic music. They both love electronic sounds and melancholy melodies and are not bound to any style. The label’s aim is to release a wave of beautiful electronically generated music. All releases are available on vinyl in limited and hand-numbered editions. Releases are also available digitally in all major digital music stores, and on streaming platforms. Electronic Emergencies is distributed worldwide by Clone Distribution Rotterdam. Electronic Emergencies promotes artistic freedom. Electronic Emergencies loves to work with and for the artists. Electronic Emergencies was not created to make profit. Why Is My Life So Boring? is a brand new 10-track album of Dutch cold wave legend Das Ding, which sounds crisp and young in the club and mature when you play it at home. Das Ding has always had that certain thing; strict and detached beats combined with warm melancholic melodies, emotionally distant and intense at the same time. The sound is clearly analogue and very specific since Danny Bosten rebuilds his vintage synths and builds his own sequencers and modular systems. The album was mastered by Alden Tyrell. It's the first album release of Das Ding after the brilliant '80s album H.S.T.A. on Minimal Wave records. released November 24, 2014 all tracks written and produced by Danny Bosten.

It was a nice surprise to discover that the guys of Electronic Emergencies have been fans of I-Robots since the early days. I-Robots and Electronic Emergencies have found each other in their eclectic taste in electronic music. While their friendship evolved, they started discussing ideas on how to collaborate. As a first step in this collaboration, I-Robots has curated this digital compilation of 14 of his favourite Electronic Emergencies tracks. These reflect the deep melodic eighties atmosphere of the label and the elaborate and sophisticated taste of I-Robots. In addition, I-Robots will remix/re-edit/rework 6 of these tracks.
