TEFOSAV was started by Charles Frame and James Stiff in 1999. It grew through postings on the warpcomm board (RIP) and the bright idea of putting together a DAM compilation of various people who’d been promoting their mp3.com pages. The original compilation releases were tagged CcommD and released over a number of years.
